OUR MISSION
Extend compassionate, comprehensive healthcare in a Christian environment to individuals in need throughout the Mountain Empire regardless of race, creed, color, gender, religious affiliation, or ability to pay. We render this care to uninsured and underinsured individuals with the hope that individuals will be healthier, and communities will be strengthened.
STAFF
Drs. Paul and Tim have been involved in Crossroads from its infancy, and grew out of their perception that many people were unable to access basic primary medical care. The mission's success for reaching the underserved has far exceed their expectations. They will be forever thankful and in awe of the support that the mission has received from the local community over the years.

James (Jimmy) Devine
Community Health Navigator
Population Health- Appalachian Highlands Care Network
Hi! My name is James (Jimmy) Devine, and I’m originally from Flint, Michigan. However, I’ve called the Appalachian Highlands home for most of my life. I’ve been involved in healthcare for five years, starting as a transporter at Holston Valley Medical Center. Later, I transitioned into a role as a Department Secretary in the Intensive Care Unit, where I assisted nurses and staff in navigating their demanding workdays.
In July 2024, I made the exciting shift to Population Health, with a focus on helping underserved patients in our region. I am thrilled to be stationed here at Crossroads Medical Mission and look forward to meeting you!

Being a mom to Ella and Grady is her most rewarding role and as she approaches the empty nest with her husband, Bradley, she spends her free time developing a CR ministry at her church, writing, and loving on her fur babies, Moose and Fletcher.

Now, Erin has taken on the role of Executive Director. With her deep commitment, experience, and passion for the mission, she is excited to lead Crossroads into its next chapter.
Erin is married to her high school sweetheart, Matt, and is the proud mom of two adult children, Nate and Reagan. At home, she enjoys the company of her two Shepherd dogs, Sid and Dean, and a lovable lop-eared bunny named Rufus.

Gina Fox
Clinical Assistant
Hey! I'm Gina. I’m a mom of four. I’ve been married to my husband for twenty-two years and spent that time as a full-time, stay-at-home chaos coordinator. After twenty-two years of managing all things home and family, I’ve recently ventured back out into the working world—wish me luck! I love people, talking to animals, rescuing bugs, and pretending my plants are thriving because of my magical touch. Our home is basically a zoo—I’ve got several cats, dogs, a rabbit, a bird, and even fish. If I’m not cooking something tasty or covered in dirt and fur, it’s probably not a normal day. I have volunteered off and on at Crossroads for a few years and became a permanent fixture just a few months ago finding myself a new purpose in life with all of my kids beginning to creep out into the real world. I am excited to be a part of such an amazing God centered crew of people and look forward to continuing to serve.
Former Executive Director | Current Spectacular Senior at Crossroads Medical Mission.
Still showing up, just with more panache and fewer meetings.
After serving joyfully (and energetically!) as Executive Director of Crossroads Medical Mission for over two decades, I have officially passed the baton—and kept the backstage pass. I now serve in a flexible, behind-the-scenes role that includes supporting the new executive director, tackling whatever needs doing, and occasionally reminding people where we keep the good pens.
My title, Spectacular Senior, is both a nod to my experience and my enthusiasm. Whether it’s grant writing, wisdom-sharing, or snack procurement, I’m here to help our team continue delivering compassionate, high-quality care to those who need it most.
Retirement is a word people use. I prefer: “Strategic redeployment!”
