Our mission is to extend compassionate, comprehensive healthcare in a Christian environment to individuals in need throughout the Mountain Empire regardless of race, creed, color, gender, religious affiliation, or ability to pay. We render this care to uninsured and underinsured individuals with the hope that individuals will be healthier, and communities will be strengthened.
Crossroads Medical Mission does not charge for the services we provide*. We accept walk-in patients at every daytime site. Please review our schedule and sites to find out the best location and date for you. Our goal is to see everyone who wishes to be seen. We reserve the right to turn walk-in patients away if our capacity or resources are exceeded. In such cases we will try to accommodate those patients at other sites.
We encourage those who have a primary care provider, health insurance, and/or prescription benefits to use the resources already available to them. Those who have adequate resources will likely be referred back to their usual providers.

We have the ability to schedule appointments at all sites. Patients with appointments are given priority over walk-in patients, though not over emergencies. If you know that you will be unable to make to your appointment, we ask that you call the appropriate site as soon as possible to cancel so that others may schedule. Patients who are late for their appointments will be seen as a walk-in.

We may ask you about your financial status. We do not charge for our services, nor do we bill insurances. However, we expect that patients will provide accurate contact information and disclose any health insurance if such is applicable. We must provide such information if any lab testing is performed*.

We do not write prescriptions for controlled substances (narcotics, tranquilizers, etc) as a general rule. We do not carry any controlled substances with us.

We will not tolerate any abuse towards our staff, our volunteers, or our referring providers by patients or their family members whether it be in person, on the phone, or by any other means. We reserve the right to not see such patients.

*Please note, there are certain items we are unable to provide free of charge if you have health care insurance.
