HOW DOES ONE BECOME A PATIENT?
We encourage those who have a primary care provider, health insurance, and/or prescription benefits to use the resources already available to them. Those who appear to have adequate resources will be referred back to their usual providers.
We accept walk-in patients at every site. However, some sites have the capacity to schedule appointments. We encourage patients to make appointments when possible. Such appointments are given priority over walk-ins. We ask that if people can't make it to their appointments that they call and cancel.
Our goal is to see everyone who wishes to be seen. We will turn walk-in patients away only if our capacity is exceeded. In such cases we will try to accommodate those patients at other sites.
We do not screen one's financial status. We do insist that patients provide accurate contact information and disclose any health insurance if applicable. We do not charge for our services, nor do we bill insurances, but we must provide such information to Spectrum Laboratories if any lab testing is performed.
