VOLUNTEERS

This mission is dependent on volunteers both on site and behind the scenes. We have been blessed with these angels who joyfully give their gifts, time, and prayers to enable the mission to operate effectively and efficiently. Quite simply the volunteers enable us to focus our attention on providing health care. The mission would not be possible without these wonderful people.

Some volunteer roles:

On-site:

• meet and greet patients
• obtain and record demographic information
• obtain vital signs
• escort and chaperone patients
• serve as medical assistant (venipuncture, lab tests, documentation, etc.)
• manage appointments and scheduling

Behind the scenes:

• manage supplies
• database entry
• patient education
• errands
• publications
• mailings
• fundraisers
• vehicle maintenance
• pray!
